Hi, I’m Sarah — and I believe every photo should feel like a memory you can hold.
I’m a natural light photographer based in the Sarasota and Tampa Bay area of Florida with Parrish as my home base, specializing in family portraits and capturing real, unscripted moments. My sessions are relaxed and playful—more running barefoot in the sand, less stiff posing. While I’ll always make sure we capture a few classic “everyone-looking-at-the-camera” shots for your walls, my heart is in the in-between moments—the laughter, the cuddles, and the tiny details that truly tell your family’s story.
Photography has been part of my life since I was a kid. My mom was the first to notice that I had an eye for taking beautiful pictures, and her encouragement stuck with me. Back then it was all film, and I spent years dreaming of photography classes. It wasn’t until college that I finally got my chance, taking a black-and-white film class and completely falling in love with the art. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography. After college I went on to photographing families, weddings, and events.
When I became a mom, life got wonderfully busy, and I had to pause my photography business. Now that my kids are older, I’ve jumped back in—and I love it more than ever.

When you book with me, expect a session that’s low-stress, kid-friendly, and full of connection. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also step back to let natural moments unfold—because that’s when the magic happens.
